    Grandma,
You have only been gone a few hours and I miss you dearly. There are so many memories I have of the times I spent at your home. So much fun growing up there. You are the best grandmother anyone could ask for. Your love was always known. You always made sure we knew just how special each one of us was to you, and you could make me feel better about any situation. As you use to tell me, “I love you, a bushel & a peck & a hug around the neck!” I miss you & Love you, Your Tina….

  2. Layton & Merilyn Guinn says:

We are saddened by the death of Lorene Guinn Gibson. Lorene was my aunt and the sister of my father, Earl Guinn. She was the last of the siblings, and we will really miss her. I have many fond memories of Lorene and Hubert Gibson and their children from visits to their farm and to Willis Creek and to the family reunions in Smiths Grove. My wife and I extend our heartfelt sympathy to all of the family at this time of sadness.

    Love and prayers,

    Layton & Merilyn Guinn

  3. Sylvia Sandefur says:

Lorene was a friend and neighbor for several years. Our “little shopping trips to town” always ended at McDonalds She loved their fish sandwiches.
.When you visited Lorene you always got a glass of ice tea. I ‘ve never mastered the art of instant tea tasting so good.
We enjoy each others company and visited often. She was a mighty fine Christian Lady and I cherish our time as neighbors and friends. Sylvia Scott Sandefur

Stan and I wish to express our condolences to the Gibson family on the passing of Aunt Lorene. I have such fond memories growing up of all the fun Steve, Pam, and I used to have playing together at Aunt Lorene and Uncle Hubert’s house. I always looked forward to going to Kentucky as a child so that I could spend the night at Aunt Lorene’s house. She was such a special lady and her smile at the family reunions will be sorely missed.
