    Tammy,

I’m so sorry for your loss. Obviously I remember your mom from my days as a kid hanging around WOVO. Later, when I was hired there I got to work with her and saw first hand how important she was. She really contributed a lot to keeping everything going and her sales played a major role. I have fond memories of her. I live in Los Angeles now and I always read the Daily Times online. It pains me to see the loss of so many wonderful people that I know or knew. I always feel guilty that I can’t pay them proper respect from so far away. My thoughts and prayer are with you all.

  22. John Wayne, Delores and Johnny Garrison says:

Tammy and Tony, We were deeply saddened to learn of Ann passing away. I worked with Ann at WCDS and WOVO for about ten years. She was truly a broadcasting professional and I learned a lot from Ann over the years. Ann was the glue that held the station together with her secaterial , sales, copy writing, news writing , account billing, public affairs and many other hats too numerous to mention. She has departed this earth to be with her father in Heaven who you will meet again someday.May GOD rest her soul and may GOD bless you and your families, our thoughts and prayers are with you and we regret that we cannot be there to comfort you and attend the service and pay our last respects to Ann.
