Raymond Mills

March 26, 1938     ~     October 23, 2009

Raymond Eugene Mills, 71, Glasgow, died Friday, October 23, 2009, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A son of the late William L. Mills and Ruby Rutledge Mills, he was a retired well driller and a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include four sons, Chris Mills, Darryl Mills, Kevin Mills and Steve Mills; one daughter, Janice (Mike) Peden; his twin brother, Ronald Mills; one sister, Juanita Ferguson; one nephew, Marty (Lisa) Ferguson; two nieces, Pamela (Bill) Schmagel and Carolyn Haas; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Myeerah Mills; one son, Jimmy Mills; one nephew, Larry D. Ferguson; one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

    jackie i’m so sorry the loss of raymond (my buddy} and he will be very missed i’m goin to miss going to see him at the nursing home and hearing him fuss about anything and argue with cindy..lol but he suffered so much struggling to breath and at least we know his in a better place than we are he is no longer suffering and we all know he is with myreeah and chris and he smiling down at us sayin everything is gonna be ok… but don’t think it’s not breaking my heart and my kid’s (his baby’s )
