Herbert Monroe “Roe” Logsdon, 59, Hiseville, died Thursday, September 24, 2009, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A son of the late Joe and Hattie Pearl Gulley Logsdon, he was a farmer, a former employee of Barren River Fertilizer and a member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Jean Garmon Logsdon; one son, Adam Logsdon of Hiseville; two daughters, Mikia Logsdon of Hiseville and Julie Young and husband, Jeff, of Edmonton; two grandchildren, Christopher Young and Crystal Young; one brother, Andy Logsdon and wife, Anna, of Horse Cave; three sisters, Martha Thomas (Doug) and Ann Wheeler (Richard) all of Glasgow, and Sarah Hornback (Steve) of Munfordville; brother-in-law, Earl Duvall; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jay Logsdon; two sisters, Louise Duvall and Mary Jo Logsdon.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
