Mitchell Eldridge, Jr.

Mitchell Winston Eldridge, Jr., 49, Glasgow, died Saturday, August 15, 2009, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A son of Mary Amber Eldridge of Edmonton and the late Mitchell Eldridge, Sr., he was a former employee of Williams and Tucker Auto Parts, an avid hunter and fisherman and attended Greater Vision Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Monica; one daughter, Sherry Eldridge of Cave City; two brothers, Jerry Lee Eldridge and wife, Mary of Horse Cave and Jonathan Eldridge of Edmonton; one sister, Betty Gossett and husband, Donald of Horse Cave; his mother-in-law, Juna Goode of Cave City; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Eldridge. He will also be greatly missed by his four-legged friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Smith Cemetery at Sulphur Well. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
