Geneva Carey Lakin, 83, of Glasgow, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Hurstbourne Care Center in Louisville. She was the daughter of the late Walker Carey and Janie McCoy Carey.
She is survived by two sons: Pat Lakin of Utah and Larry L. Lakin and his wife Jennifer of Louisville; two grandchildren: Patrick Carey Lakin and his wife Christie, Jeni-Rebecca Geoghegan and her husband Chris; one great grandchild: Janie Lakin; one brother: Rollie Carey and his wife Becky of Glasgow.
Funeral will be 11:00 A. M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery . Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Glasgow Baptist Church.
