Beulah Kelsey Furlong, 92, of Glasgow, died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Glenview Health Care Center.  Mrs. Furlong was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late Myrton and Dartha Hughes Kelsey.  She was the widow of the late Woodard Furlong.  She was a homemaker, foster parent and worked in the Foster Grandparent Program.  She was a member of the Samson Street Church of God.

She is survived by one daughter: Burdene Williams, three sons: David Brown (Pam) of Glasgow, Chester Stiles of Glasgow and Ernest Turner of Texas; eight grandchildren, Barry Eaton (Beverly), Baretta Shirley (Eutre), Jackie Cash (Greg), Joni Poynter (Choppy), ricky Eaton, Kim Dobbs, Matthew Stiles and Tiffany Stiles.  She is also survived by several great and great-great grandchildren, a nephew and several nieces.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Vera Eaton, three sons: Leroy Stiles, J. B. Turner, Bill Brown and a son-in-law Delbert Williams.  Also two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral will be 11:00 A. M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Kinslow officiating.  Burial will be in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Alternate expressions of sympathy make take the form of donations to your favorite charity.
