Herschel Hughes

Herschel Lovon Hughes, 76, of Hiseville died Saturday, March 08, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital, after an extended illness. He was a retired dairy cattle dealer and an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Jo Culver Hughes; one son: Mark Hughes and his wife Letitia; one daughter: Trudy H. Weaver and her husband Murl; four granddaughters: Tiffany Toliver and her husband Chad, Tara Hogue and her husband Ryan, Mariah Hughes and Malena Hughes; two great-grandchildren: Sierra Toliver and Grayson Toliver; three sisters: Beatrice Firkin and her husband Jude, Jewell Rigdon and her husband Elmer, Katherine London and her husband Jack; one brother: Jimmy Hughes; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Samuel and Louie Beatrice Hughes.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Peden officiating. Burial will be in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy make take the form of donations to the American Heart Association.
