Henry Davis (Papa) Wilson, 84, Hiseville, died Monday, February 11, 2008, at his residence. A son of the late Rollin and Mollie Bragg Wilson, he was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include three sons, Stanley Wilson and wife, Jean, Norris Wilson and wife, Charlene, and Terry Wilson and wife, Rita; one daughter, Margie Reed and husband, Terry; one daughter-in-law, Janet Cook and husband, Don; 10 grandchildren, Stanley D. (Tammie) Wilson, Renee (Timmy) Waddell, Dawna (Keith) Wood, Lesa Pinnegar, Nena (Dave) Shomler, Chris (Carla) Reed, Jeff (Jeanie) Reed, Lindsey Reed, Derek Wilson and Emilee Wilson; three brothers, Carlos Wilson, Chester Wilson and Clarence Wilson; two sisters, Della Fields and Marie Riley; one brother-in-law, Floyd E. Vance; three sisters-in-law, Margaret Dean, Mary Byrd and Katherine Dean.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Dean Wilson; one son, Preston Wilson; and one daughter, Tammie Wilson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
