Paul Ray McKinney, 80 died Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Glasgow Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 24, 1927 in Danville, IL., a son of the late Eugene and Nancy Willis McKinney. Paul was a retired superintendent for Ernest Simpson Construction Company. Prior to that, he was a school teacher in Adair County. He served in the U.S. Army Constabulary Forces and was a Charter member of Faith United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma Simpson McKinney; one son, Paul Simpson McKinney and wife Marita; six grandchildren, Heather and Kelly McKinney of Bowling Green, Hunter and EB McKinney of Glasgow, Chris Fields of Cincinnati, OH and Matt Fields of Glasgow; two brothers, Donald Lee (Bobbie) of Columbia and Harold (Carol) of Danville; four sisters, Stella Ballou (Kenneth) of Burkesville, Ruby Roach (HW) of Columbia, Juanita Scott (Murray) of Columbia and Doris Jean Lane (Gary) of Danville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Faith United Methodist Church in Glasgow with burial in the Burkesville Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 P.M. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
