Emma Frances Edmunds Church, 79, Glasgow, died Friday, September 22, 2006, at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Ray Edmunds and Josie Furlong Edmunds, who survives. She was retired from the Kentucky Department for Human Resources and is a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church.
Along with her mother, she is survived by one son, William Michael Church and his wife, Tonya, of Hendersonville, TN; one granddaughter, Emma Church of Hendersonville; one step-granddaughter, Andrea Avrin of New Jersey; two sisters, Margie Kinslow and her husband, Earl, and Barbara Page and her husband, Bill, all of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 25, 2006, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Glasgow Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, T. J. Samson Hospice or a favorite charity.
