Wesley David Garmon, 54, Austin, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.  A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Charlie and Willie Jo Byrd Garmon.  He was a farmer, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include his wife, Lora J. Garmon; two sons, Stacey D. Garmon and Charlie Lee Garmon both of Austin; six brothers, Maxie Garmon, Beaver (B.J.) Garmon, Gary Garmon, Dennis Garmon, Ronnie Garmon and Michael Garmon all of Hiseville; three sisters, Margie Russell of Russell Springs, Carol Jean Logsdon of Hiseville and Peggy Moore of Columbia; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Richard Garmon; one brother, Billy Garmon; and one sister, Brenda Jo Garmon.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery.  Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the David Garmon Family at the funeral home.
