Mary Lois Perkins, 80, Franks Mill Road, Glasgow, died Sunday, February 13, 2005, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.  A daughter of the late Minnie Huff and Henry T. Staples, she was a retired receptionist and secretary at Salvation Army and Community Relief in Glasgow.  She was also a former dental hygienist in the office of Dr. Fred Marshall.

Survivors include two sons, William E. “Bud” Kingrey and his wife, Phyllis Ann, and Chester L. Kingrey, Jr. and his wife, Jo Ann, all of Glasgow; six grandchildren, William Kelly Kingrey of Cave City, Carisa Leann Jackson, Kerri Breanna Kingrey, Connie Birge and Corey Kingrey all of Glasgow, and Brandon Kingrey of Louisville; three sisters, Bess Riddle and Madell Bagby of Glasgow and Peggy Polson of Allen County; four brothers, Henry Ellison Staples, Milburn Staples and James Follis Staples all of Glasgow and Leroy Staples of Leitchfield; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Edward Leo Kingrey and one brother, Loren David Staples.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
