Goldie Muriel Bailey, 87, Knob Lick, died Wednesday, February 16, 2005, at her residence.  A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Lou Etta Pardue and James Henry Eudy.  The widow of the late Guy Thomas Bailey, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Kidd of Knob Lick; six sons, Thomas Bailey, Russell Bailey and wife, Kaye of Knob Lick, Clay Bailey and wife Brenda of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Gerald Bailey and Kathy of Columbia, Joseph Bailey and wife Janet of Greensburg, and David Bailey and wife Faye of Edmonton; one brother, L.P. Eudy; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Bailey and Laverne Eudy; one brother-in-law, Cecil Byrd; one aunt, Rosie Brown; 24 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sara Francis Bailey and Lauretta Mae Johnson; a sister, Elizabeth Irene Glass; seven brothers, Powell Henry Eudy, Thomas Brook Eudy, Frank Henry Eudy, James Samuel Eudy, William Howard Eudy, John Raymond Eudy and Ewing Lawrence Eudy.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2005, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery.  Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
