Rondal “Red” Perkins, 73, of the Red Cross Community, died Tuesday, December 7, 2004, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital . A son of the late George and Myrtie Poore Perkins, he was a retired employee of Eaton Axle in Glasgow . He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church .

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; one son, Darrell Perkins of Red Cross; one daughter, Rita Felkins and her husband, Greg, of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Shawna Felkins and Cameron Felkins; three brothers-in-law, James Bray and Paul Bray and his wife, Linda, of Glasgow, Jesse Bray and his wife, Carol, of Tampa, FL; three sisters-in-law, Eileen Perkins and Robbie Jo Perkins of Washington and Wilma Templeton of Salem, IN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, J.W. Perkins, Orville Perkins, Maxie Perkins and Lewis Perkins, and by one sister, Jewell Bray.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Thursday at the funeral home.
