Violet L. Gillentine, 61 of Glasgow died Sunday, September 19 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Willie Lee Kerney and Delcie Marie Wilcox Kerney.
She is survived by her two sons: Danny Gillentine and his wife Michelle and Jeff Gillentine and his Fiancé Amy Thrasher and her son Blake; one granddaughter: Madison Nicole Gillentine; three step-grandchildren: Felica Morgan, Dewayne Morgan and Josh Morgan; three brothers: Jerry Kerney, Gary Kerney and Darrell Kerney all of Glasgow; three sisters: Patty Lane of Clark Ranger, TN, Gloria Pitcock of Glasgow and Fanny Basil of Glasgow.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth Gillentine; her daughter: Kathy Kay Gillentine and her brother: Terry Kerney.
Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery . Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday.
