Zelma L. Hunt
May 18, 1923 ~ October 23, 2003
Zelma L. Hunt, 80, Glasgow , died Thursday at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Allen County , she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Rena Cox Levi. She was a retired nurse’s aide at T. J. Samson Community Hospital , a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church and the Glasgow Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Melloan and her husband, Kenneth, of Horse Cave; two sons, Billy Walker of Adairville and Danny Walker of Glasgow; five grandchildren, David Cox and wife, Linda, Sherry Meador and husband, Lynn, Crystal Peterie and husband, Brett, Stacy Walker and wife, Marsha, and Kenneth Walker and wife, Tina; one brother, William “Buddy” Levi of Indianapolis; twelve great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Levy Ray Walker and Lattie B. Hunt; one daughter, Brenda Walker; and one sister, Betty Simpson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2003, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Crescent HillCemetery at Scottsville. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
