Willie T. Cloyd age 87 of Glasgow died Monday March 24, 2003 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital He was the Son of the late Ed and Mucie Hammer Cloyd. He was retired from the Kentucky State Highway Dept. and the Glasgow Street Dept. where he served as assistant Superintendent. Before his illness he was an avid Golfer and Bowler and taught little league for many years. He was a member of the South Green Street Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife: Ruby Abston Cloyd Two Sons: Veachel Wayne Cloyd of Scottsville and Willie Mitchell Cloyd of Glasgow. Two Granddaughters: Marla Wood of Bon Ayr and Lisa Enfinger of Ga. One Step Daughter: Judy Dugger of Glasgow, a special nephew Brian Abston whom he raised. Two Brothers: JT Cloyd of Tompkinsville and Frank Cloyd of Ill. Three Sisters: Bassie Spear of Ill. And Louise Hammer and her husband virgil of Tompkinsville and Mary Ann Hale of Lafayette Tenn. Several Nieces and Nephews also Survive.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Myrtie Casteel Cloyd, three Brothers: Truman, Roy and Edward.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Monroe County. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10:00 AM on Wednesday.
