Mattie Eaton Calvert, 87, Tracy, died Friday at the NHC Health Care Center. A daughter of the late Carroll and Mary “Dolly” Bryant Eaton, she was a homemaker and a member of the Tracy United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Billy Ervin Calvert and his wife, Linda, of Tracy; one sister, Sally Brownfield and her husband, Dee, of Glasgow; a sister-in-law, Mrs. J.C. “Nell” Eaton, Jr. of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Calvert; a daughter, Lana Calvert; three sisters, Zula Eaton Russell, Lennie Eaton and Janell Eaton Albany; four brothers, Willie Eaton, Floyd Eaton, Garnett Eaton and J.C. Eaton, Jr.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Fountain Run Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Sunday at the funeral home.
