Sam W. Richardson, 65, Glasgow, died Friday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Rev. Thomas A. Richardson and Bertha London Richardson. He was a retired Radiology Technician at the T. J. Community Hospital, a member of the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Allen Lodge # 24 F. & A.M., York Rite and Kosair Shrine.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Matthews Richardson; one daughter, Ellen Richardson Sullivan and her husband, Tim, of Ocala, Florida; one son, Kevin Lee Richardson and his wife, Alisha, of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Emily, Katie and Eric Sullivan of Ocala, and Samuel O. Richardson of Glasgow; three brothers, James Richardson of Cave City, Hubert Richardson of Louisville and George Richardson of Mississippi; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Richardson and Harry Richardson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building Fund, the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
