Anna Katherine Strader, 80, a life-long resident of Hiseville (Barren County), Kentucky, died on Monday, April 22, 2002 after a long illness.  Mrs. Strader was the widow of Sam Strader, Sr. who died in 1969.  She was an active member of Hiseville Baptist Church prior to her illness.  After the death of her husband, she was a part owner of Strader’s Dairy, Inc. and Hiseville Feed and Seed Company in Hiseville.  She was graduated from Hiseville High School in 1940.
She is survived by three sons, Sam Strader, Jr. of Lexington, Kentucky, David Strader of Hiseville, Kentucky and Joe Bryan Strader of Glasgow, Kentucky; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; four brothers and sisters, William Alexander of Nashville, Tennessee, Sue Grider of Griderville, Glenn Alexander of Glasgow and Mary Pippin of New Orleans, Louisiana.  She was predeceased by one brother, Joe Alexander, and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 3:00 P.M. CDT on Sunday, April 28, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, Glasgow, with burial at Hiseville Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. CDT on Saturday, April 27 and after 1:00 on Sunday, April 28.
