Clyde H. Belcher, 82, Hatcher Court, Glasgow, died Sunday at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. The Metcalfe County native was the son of the late Clarence and Effie Norman Belcher. He was a retired sales manager for Preston-Ropp Chevrolet, a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II.

Survivors include two brothers, James Belcher of Louisville and Robert O. Belcher of Summer Shade and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Hatcher Belcher and a sister, Mary Dean Meredith.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
