Ruby Frances Taylor, 82, Edmonton Road, Glasgow, died Monday at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Giles County, TN, she was a daughter of the late Roy W. and Mary Jones Dickson. She was a retired Registered Nurse at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital, a member of the Retired Nurses Association of Glasgow and a member of the Columbia Avenue Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Howard Taylor and his wife, Jerry Kaye of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Brian, Emily and Micah Taylor and Amy Edwards; two step-grandchildren, Tracy McBrayer and Scott Firkins; two step-great-grandchildren, Anne Claire McBrayer and Ashton McBrayer; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Peden of Glasgow and Lavada Ard of Tucson, AZ; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Taylor and a daughter, Barbara Edwards.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Neals Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Potter Children’s Home, 2350 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101 or to the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library in Glasgow.
