          Katherine Key, 87, Bowling Green, died Saturday at Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green.  A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Vera Nettie Pardue Byrd.  She was a nurse and a sitter for the elderly.

           Survivors include one son, Bobby Key and his wife, Linda, of Horse Cave; two grandchildren, Aaron Key and Laura Beth Key of Horse Cave; two brothers, Maxie Byrd and Lewis Byrd both of Louisville; several nieces and nephews.

           In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Taylor Key; three sisters, Willie Jo Garmon, Christine Vessels and Madeline Gracie; two brothers, Lloyd Byrd and Charles Byrd. 

          Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery.  Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
