Linnie (Lucy) was like a second mother to me. I loved her very much and we had become so close over the last several years. I saw her just two weeks ago at Ashleigh's baby shower, though she was in pain, she didn't want to miss Ashleigh's big event. She was all about family. Her world revolved around her family and she made me feel welcome and loved. My heart goes out to her husband, and all the rest of the family she adored so much and left behind too soon. Linnie was a big sister to m e while we were growing up and also she was a lot like a second mother too, at times. "Now you be careful June" She always made me feel so loved and made sure we always felt 'at home' when I and our family visited, although we could never seem to find enough time to visit as often as we should have.
