Guest Register for Annette Delk
I graduated with Annette and would see her from time to time over the years...she always had a smile and a wave, while conducting her duties as crossing guard at E.B. Terry. She was a very sweet lady; I'll missing seeing her. (paulette)
Kim and I graduated together. We went from 1st through 12th grade. Annette was a very sweet and funny lady. She and my dad, Jim, graduated together and my mom, Debbie, and Annette's brother graduated together. Our family has known Annette and Kim for along time and we will truly miss her.
So sorry about your loss.
I sure will miss you
Kim, i am very sorry for your loss.
Annette and I used to always love joking around at the police department. She was a character. The department will seem empty without her.
She will be missed
Did not know our neighbor Annette, but she never failed to waive or throw up her hand as we passed by so frequently. Have always heard many good things about this lady and now wished I had known her better......my prayers and thoughts go out to the family. The Hurt Family
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Albany, Annette would not know my name but I saw her around town doing her work that she seemed to enjoy. She brought sunshine to me through my many dark days. My sincere sympathy.
I'll never forget at 6 yrs old, the first time I ever crossed Lexington Dr, Annette & Kim drove her car over just so I could follow safely on my bicycle behind so my mother wouldn't worry. I can still see her eyes smiling at me in the rearview mirror. The first roadtrip on a boring afternoon took Annette, Kim, & I out to Eastern Elem school. At that young age I thought we'd never find our way back...& so many trips to Baskin Robbins for ice cream. There are so many favorable memories such as those I'll never forget. Annette was always a favorite of all the neighborhood kids, keeping all of us laughing constantly. Thank you for so many smiles. Annette always has a smile & funny joke. A great loss this is for everyone who knew her. You are lucky Kim, to have a such a wonderful mother. I know you'll miss her dearly.

Dear Kim, Nelda, Edward, Al, Eric and Family, We are so very sorry to hear of Annette's untimely death and we too will miss her. It won't be the same on the square without Annette's smile and greeting everytime we saw her. She always had a greeting for everyone and will be missed by all. Our prayers go up for you all for strength through this time. Much love to you all.
Annettel directed the traffic on Col. Ave. when I lived out the Edmonton Rd. And since I lived by myself, when I woke up in the mornings and got ready for work, she was the first person I would see in my day. As I traveled to work. She would always smile at me and wave with a friendly greeting. Sometimes you never know how a smile just might touch someone's life. And Annette's sure did touch mine and brighten up the morning for me. She will be missed by alot of people I am sure, but her smile will always live on in my memories. My deppest sympathy goes out to Ms. Delk's family. Carla Hagan

Kim - I doubt if your Mom would have even remembered my name, but when my daughters and I moved here from Arizona in 1989, we met while she was crossing at the old location of the middle school. We talked awhile because I had been a crossing guard in Garland, TX and we shared stories. After my girls graduated from high school and I would see your Mom down town or shopping, she'd always give me the biggest smile and we'd talk just about a minute. I watched her crossing the kids at EB Terry ... always that big smile and the deep concern for the safety of those little ones. I grieve for your in your loss and pray for the peace of the Lord for you. Sandi
