          Tressie Stone Crawhorn, 85, Garmon Avenue, Glasgow, died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.  A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Rennick and Minnie Tibbs Stone, a homemaker, a member of the Old Zion Methodist Church and the Glasgow Senior Citizens Quilters. 

          Survivors include one son, J. Vernon Crawhorn and wife, Marie, of Glasgow; two daughters, Marcella Smith and husband, Smitty, of Glasgow, and Norma Meredith and husband, Dallas, of Glasgow; one brother, Ernest Stone of Louisville; two sisters, Ruby Barnes and Maydell Heflin both of Louisville; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. 

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Milton Crawhorn and one daughter, Carol McCoy and her husband, Cecil. 

          Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2003, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery.  Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
