          Magdolyne Cox, 80, Central Avenue , Glasgow , died Thursday, February 05, 2004 , at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital .  A daughter of the late Euna and Nelia Froedge Young, she was a retired teacher with Metcalfe County Schools and a member of the Winfrey Chapel Methodist Church .  

          Survivors include one brother, Donald Young and his wife, Ann, of Edmonton ; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Cox; three sisters, Mattie Word, Myrtle Brown and Mary Kirgan; and two brothers, Jack Young and Nelson Young.  

          Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Neals Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
