          Clara L. Church, 95, Glasgow , died Wednesday, August 25, 2004 , at the NHC Health Care Center.  A native of Barren County , she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Nannie Brown Church .  She was a retired sales clerk at J.J. Newberry’s and Lerman Bros. Department Store in Glasgow and had been a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church since 1920.  

          Survivors include one brother, Clyde Church and his wife, Pearl , of Bowling Green ; four nephews, David A. Compton of Mississippi, Sonny Church of Pennsylvania, Steve Church of Bowling Green and Jerry Church of Scottsville.  A sister, Ruth Compton, preceded her in death.  

          Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2004, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
