    Mary Nan Bowles, 84, of Hiseville, died Thursday, August 01, 2002 at the Caverna Memorial Hospital.  She was a resident of the Hiseville community, a homemaker and a member of the Hiseville Baptist Church.  She was the daughter of the late John Creel and Mary Moss Parrish Blaydes.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Bowles and her brothers: William Marion, John Creel, Jr., Henry Lee, Clarence and David McCandless Blaydes and her sister Pearl Blaydes.  

          She is survived by her daughter: Nancy Leonard Bowles Christie and her husband Rollin of Hiseville.  Two grandsons: Micajah Francis and Morgan Lee Christie of Hiseville.  One sister-in-law: Louise Blaydes of Glasgow.  She also leaves several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.         

          Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home  after 2:00 P.M. Saturday.
